Mark Flanders, Owner and
General Contractor
Born in Salt Lake City, Mark's family moved to California in 1968.
Mark is a third generation contractor. His grandfather had a plumbing
company. When
he retired his sons took over the business. That plumbing company is still a thriving family owned and operated operation.
Mark branched out from the family business and became a
house painter. He then honed his skills as a carpenter, a
concrete
former and finisher and an electrician. At 28, Mark became a
superintendent for a large commercial contractor based in Newport beach
who's clients
included Albertson Stores, REI and Pick 'n Save, among others. From
there, Mark worked for a Los Angeles based contracting firm where he was
General Manager and Vice President overseeing the earthquake retrofit
division with clients ranging from apartment buildings, UCLA, USC and
commercial buildings. Prior to starting his own general contracting and
construction business, MDF Construction,
Mark was superintendent of a residential
building and remodeling company.
Mark is licensed and bonded with the state of California and holds a general
building (B) license. His hands on approach, working side by side with
his labor staff and his clients has been and continues to be a formula for
success. On time, on budget and personal attention are tantamount to
the values and commitment Mark brings to the table.
